Hello, Alabama Baptists! It’s a delight to be able to address you again this month in October. And remember, this is Pastor Appreciation Month, and it’s also Cooperative Program Month. And we wanna thank you for your giving through the Cooperative Program and making Alabama Baptist the number one Cooperative Program giving state convention to the national body of the SBC.
November is coming up, of course, and it’s an election. All the commercials remind us it’s an election on November 3. And therefore, for your benefit, we have a Non-Partisan Voter Guide in terms of focusing on the issues. You can find it on the homepage of our website, and I think you’ll find it to be useful.
Remember now, also in November, November 17 and 18, First Baptist Church Trussville will be having our family reunion, and this year’s theme is “Encouragers.” Leading us will be Charles Billingsley and Buddy Champion, and there’ll be other featured people who will be guiding us in this time of celebration.
