Greetings, Alabama Baptists. September, wow, this year is passing by so rapidly, it’s like a blur, but already this year, we’ve seen great things happen in our churches and through ministries here at the State Board of Missions. Keep in mind that the Myers-Mallory State Missions offering is an important compliment and supplement to the Cooperative Program where we can help disaster relief, we can help missions mobilization, church revitalization, and church planting, as well as the WMU and Partnership Ministries.
Also, I want to simply say, please mark November 11 and 12 down for the State Convention there at Whitesburg in Huntsville on November 11-12. Remember that because that is where we are going to emphasize the theme Compelled – 2 Corinthians 5:14, “We are compelled by Christ.” Join us there. It’s a good time of fellowship, of family reunion, and it also is a time for us to have inspiration through great preaching and wonderful singing. God bless you.
