Hello, Alabama Baptists. Always my joy and privilege again to be able to bring to your attention the important Myers Mallory State Missions Offering. I happened to know Martha Myers. I knew of her, met her. I’ve always been impressed with her story, and of course of the way she laid down her life on the mission field in the year 2002, December of 2002. Kathleen Mallory had a stellar history in serving not only Alabama Baptists but Southern Baptists.
So I wanna bring those two names to you. They represent our state mission’s offering, where we can support disaster relief. Well over what we’re able to do through the Cooperative Program, it’s a supplement. We can support church revitalization and church planting. We can also think about partnerships, global partnerships, and the fostering of the multiplicity of WMU ministries.
So on September 7th through 14th, that’s the week of prayer. Remember those of us you’re looking to and helping support him on mission with a great commission through the Myers-Mallory State Missions Offering. Give to it; you’ll be blessed.
