We are all pre-schoolers when in comes to prayer. We never graduate. We never become PHD’s in prayer. We are always learning the basics over and over. And often times we take them for granted. One way of not taking prayer for granted is revisiting the Lord’s prayer.
Beginning our next online Call To Prayer we’re going to focus on the Lord’s Prayer.
You remember the opening lines, King James, “Our Father, who art in heaven, “hallowed be my name.” Heavenly Father, holy name. Those ought to be an emphasis in our life that we remember.
We have a heavenly Father who has a home in our hearts, and we have his holy name that reminds us that life is sacred, His name is sacred, His character is sacred.
When we live that kind of holy life, reflecting the holiness of Christ and our God, then we know who He is, and who we are.
Our next online Call to Prayer, heavenly Father, holy name. Join us.
