Hello, again Alabama Baptists.
You probably know that Pam and I entered the silly period of life three years ago when we had a granddaughter come into this world. Well, we celebrated her third birthday recently, and it reminded me that we are also, celebrating the third birthday of “Myers-Mallory“. We’re in our third year of this very important State Missions Offering.
You probably recall that incorporation with Alabama WMU, Disaster Relief, Church Planting, Church Revitalization, and Global Partnership Missions, these emphases make up what we are calling the “Myers-Mallory State Missions Offering”, named after two iconic figures in Alabama Baptist life. Martyred Missionary Martha Myers and in, Kathleen Mallory. One of the fine leaders in yesteryear among Alabama Baptists.
What I’m asking you to do is be a part of this as we gain momentum each year. We are looking forward to reaching and exceeding our $1 million goal to go to these various ministries of great commissioned efforts in Alabama Baptist life. Of course, we have a Hallelujah Goal, and that goal is $1.25 million.
We’re impressed and encourage that Alabama Baptists are becoming more and more involved in what we call the “Myers-Mallory State Missions Offering”. So, thank you in advance for participating.
I’ll let you know up front, we here at the State Board of Missions are the vanguard of emphasizing this. We’re trying to set a good example, and Pam and I are doing the same with our gift to Myers-Mallory State Missions Offering.
We look forward to hearing from you and reaching and exceeding our Myers-Mallory State Missions Offering goal of $1 million. Thank you.
